Week One – March 7-10, 2009 DeMatha H.S. (DC), elected to take a mini-pre-season cam in Cocoa Beach, in 2009 because of a conflict with Easter vacation and game schedule obligations. Coach Scott Morrison and the team practiced hard for three days and concluded their “spring swing” with a scrimmage against St. Anne’s-Belfield (VA) on the way to the airport. The intense short term practice was a relief from 20 degree temperatures in Washington and sharpened the stick skills for their season opener on March 11. |

Royal Palms Lacrosse 2009 is under way! The first teams for RPT 2009 have arrived and are continuing their pre-season training in the sun and warmth of Cocoa Beach Florida. This site continues to be the best combination of fields and accommodations available. Royal Palms Tournament is back for its 39th consecutive year of running pre-season lacrosse camps in Florida. This year there are four weeks of opportunities to prepare high school lacrosse teams for their season in Florida while their competitors are practicing in the cold, mud, and maybe snow back home. This is a great place to get an advantage over your competitor in your home league Look forward to seeing more updates from games, coaches, and players. Check back to see photos from each of the weeks of lacrosse camp as we get them loaded to our site. Let us know if you have additional digital photos or videos from RPT 2009. |
